Protecting our land. Planning for our future.
Lake County is a special place defined by its land, water, and strong communities.
Keeping it that way takes thoughtful planning, honest leadership, and a willingness to think beyond the next election cycle.
I'm running for Lake County Board to bring steady, practical leadership focused on long-term care to this place we call home.

As your County Board member, I'll focus on responsible stewardship, practical use of tax dollars, strategies for more attainable housing, and solutions that protect our community today and into the future.
Protecting Our Land & Water
I'll protect Lake County’s wetlands, forest preserves, aquifers, and waterways through responsible land-use planning. I support a goal of no net loss of wetlands and believe we should work toward improving wetland function — including water quality and flood protection — so our natural resources continue to serve our communities for generations.

Responsible Government That Works for Us
I believe in careful planning, open decision-making, and fiscal responsibility. Our taxpayer dollars must be free from waste while ensuring our government works effectively to deliver the resources we deserve. I'll always act in a way that earns trust and stay accessible — recognizing that public business belongs in the public eye.
Attainable Housing
I'll act to make housing more attainable and usable for people at every stage of life through strategic planning. That includes supporting accessibility initiatives for those aging in place, people with disabilities, families, and visitors, and encouraging smart planning so homes work from the start instead of requiring costly fixes later.

Supporting Mental Health
I'll advocate for mental health awareness and emphasize that mental health is as vital as physical health. By working with schools, families, service providers, and community organizations, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help connect people to resources that strengthen long-term well-being. When communities prioritize mental well-being, individuals thrive, creating a ripple effect of positive social and economic benefits.
Economic Growth & Community Safety
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We must plan infrastructure and roads to act as the "arteries" of the local economy, facilitating supply chains, employee commutes, and customer access. Shorter commute times boost productivity in the work place, give families more time together, reduce expenses, and reduce environmental impact. Community safety requires both responsible policy and strong community engagement. I support common-sense approaches that strengthen public safety partnerships, reduce harm, and keep our communities secure focusing on prevention and accountability.
Lake County Vision and Values

District 17 deserves clear, focused representation — someone who knows who they serve and stays focused on delivering results, not outside agendas. I’m committed to working for the people who live here and focusing on what matters most in our own backyard.

That means protecting our land and water, strengthening public safety, improving transportation throughtout the district, responsible gun policies, and expanding housing options that work for real life — including for people with disabilities and those aging in place. It means accountatibilty in government, fiscal responsibility, and decisions that respect taxpayers and stand up over time.

I believe the best solutions come when people are informed, heard, and willing to work together. I'll always strive to create space for diverse voices to come together to build a Lake County that is healthier, safer, and more livable — now and for the future.
